On January 25th (the Day of Student and Tatianas Day in Russia) an exhibition «Flora and fauna of Russian scene» was opened. This exposition represented a world of ballet and theatre at the beginning of XX century. More than hundred sketches such famous artists as Andreas Roller, I.Vsevolozhsky, Sergey Panov and Sergey Vorobyov are collected here. At the same time students from art and designers universities presented their own unusual fashion ideas.The exhibition was opened by well-known Russian fashion-designer Tatyana Parfenova and the administration of the museum presented her a unique Yves Saint Laurent book about Russian vogue.

This period is probably very close to the designer’s state of mind, just not so long ago we saw her stunning show at the Mikhailovsky Castle, as well as the phantasmagoric show with Alexander Vertinsky’s songs in the Gallery Bulthaup and in the fashion house on Nevsky Prospekt.
Now, probably not randomly chosen site of the old airport, which has long forgotten about air passengers and aircraft, moved the audience on the time machine out of a bohemian Saint-Petersburg into small towns of Russia. Provincial girls – models walked on the podium of New Russia with the sounds of foreign music hit in the elegant and stylish clothes. But the light goes out and what is it? ” Russian folk songs with old records, where the singer is accompanied by Rachmaninov himself! Girls repeat pass, sending a subtle hint of intelligent viewers …
An impressive selection of texture models. Here are images of all nationalities living in our vast country are represented o the show! And here Parfenova, as it seemed, gave a sharp slap to a former idol of Russian dandies John Galliano: after black woman, beautiful Jewish woman entered the podium with pride and confidence.
