The Moscow Art Gallery «IZO Art Gallery» / Gallery of Fine Arts presented an exhibition of the artist Stanislav Ilin. This is an important exchange between different schools of painting, Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

"Dreams and Raveries" is an exhibition about the different brink of a woman: the Eve, Mothers, contemporary Madonna with «to do» list. Only women have such eyes, the flexibility body and beauty lines. The artist tried to impress it on canvases. The works of Stanislav Ilin also have good postmodern sense of humor and ironical citation.The exposition successfully crowned sculptures of Maxim Aksenov. His works from a series "High Heels" are long research on the topic of contemporary woman. 10 April opened an new exhibition of Stanislav  Iliin's in Paris, but he chose stay at St. Petersburg.

Exhibition «MIXED MEDIA»

Fedor Krushelnitsky is trully an artist from a capital letter “A”, his exhibition is recently opened at the gallery DiDi. He is a real provoker in his creativity. He has his own style, based on traditions of great sculptors of the past, but still, he is allways in search of new ways of creating and trying to experiment with sculptural textures and graphics aswell. Some how  he managed to convey  light sarcasm and personal spiritual power in his works. At the opening of the exhibition, we have talked to the gallery director, Elizabeth Shagina and Fedor aswell.

Until the 19th of  December only at the salone-gallery “Blue Lounge” the exhibition of genius sculptor, the member of  the Artists’ Union of St. Petersburg, is opened. His work was last shown at the State Russian Museum in 1994.
Konstantin Simun during last 20 years is living in America, in Boston state Massachusetts. However, he does not consider himself as an American and happy to stay for a while in our nice, but not yet able to appreciate true talent ,city on the Neva river.
The most famous sculpture by Simun – “Broken blockade Ring”, a memorial, which is a part of the Green Belt of Glory, located on the western shore of Ladoga lake. It was opened on 29th of October in 1966 on the Road of Life, and was an example of Soviet period vanguard, which has caused mixed reaction and was omitted by accident.
Extraordinary personality of the artist is really incredible, as well as his works. He is a classic of Russian avant-garde who is always seeking new forms of expression in the surrounding objects. After the tragedy in New York September 11, 2001 Konstantin Simun has made a new masterpiece – “Twins.”
